Hunter is on the high school tennis team. He played J.V. last year and really enjoyed it, he worked really hard over the last year taking private lessons and working out to become a better tennis player. Tennis season started and they play several matches a day to rank you on the team. Hunter ranked number 1 for singles. Hunter was so proud of himself because all of his hardwork payed off.
The High School entered the St. George Tennis Tournament..
He played First Singles for every match.. The first day they played Magna- He won 6-4 6-0 The second match they played against Grand Junction and he won his match 6-0 6-2. Then he played Wasatch and won 6-1 6-0. Then he played North Sanpete he won 3-6 6-3 10-5.. IN a 3rd set tie breaker.. He made it to the finals where they played Dixie and he lost
but, his high school won their other matches.So, Pineview took 1st Place in the tournament..
