On Saturday Noah and Luke competed in The big Rhino Rally desert dirt bike race..
Noah raced with the 65B class ages 7-9. He got off to a good start .. He did awesome the first lap and then on the second lap he flew over his handle bars and fell. Another racer ran over him and he then was able to get back up and to finish the lap, he came
around a bend and crashed again, he got up again and came across the finish line.. A lot of people crash in these races and
do not finish. Noah raced hard and despite the crashes he came in and finished 3RD...WOW!!!! We are so proud of him-
Luke raced with the 4-6 year olds. He was riding a 50- We were all at the finish line to watch the start, I was video taping and watched the racers take off. I followed the pack trying to zoom in on Luke and couldn't find him. I looked back at the starting line and Luke was still there. He thought his bike was started with all the noise he couldn't tell that it wasn't on. The flag dropped and when he went to go he couldn't because his bike wasn't turned on. It took him a minute to get it going and then he took off. As he did each lap, he was passing other riders. Despite his really bad start, he finished in 2nd place.. Way to go Lucas!!!
Both Boys are really good riders.. That same weekend Shelby and Kenny stopped over for a night on their way to the NASCAR races. We love them and it is always good to see them-
